So again, I ask why marijuana tea? Marijuana tea gives you the benefits of consuming marijuana however by ingesting you are pushing the medicine through your blood stream instead of your lungs.

Note, in this case you are saving yourself any possible lung damage. Marijuana can cause lung damage just as anything else you enable, and by holding it in you are only causing more possible damage. - - - Also, no judgment just information
By drinking marijuana tea, you are sending the meds through your digestive system and all through your body. This allows the marijuana to work its way slowly through your system and make the effects long lasting and provide and overall body relaxation.
Marijuana tea is also a wonderful way to aid in sleep. Drink a cup 30 minutes before bedtime and allow the effects to relax the body and mind. This will aid in a smoother sleep transition and allow you to rest longer.

Did you know:
Marijuana tea has been known to aid in a healthy heart. By drinking the tea, it opens and relaxes the arteries; which allow them to open better. This means it can help in aiding blood flow and lower blood pressure.
Studies have found this effect to be pretty specific to marijuana tea. They have not found this effect to be true by simply smoking marijuana.

Marijuana Tea Brewing Tips:
First, product choice. Listen I cannot stress this enough, if you would not want to smoke that strain of marijuana, then it will not be right for your tea. Every strain of marijuana has its unique properties and benefits.
It is important to pick the right strain of marijuana for your needs; as each strain is different and will react different to each person. There could be negative side effects depending on how your body reacts to that strain. Do your research and choose your best. Marijuana is not a one size fits all!
Also, ask the bud tenders for advice on strains, that's why they are there.
When brewing your herbs you should first do a tester batch. Start with a small amount of herb and see what strength level your body needs. For people who regularly smoke or ingest marijuana products, your tolerance will obviously be higher and need a stronger brew. Now in comparison, if you only smoke every so often or not at all, a light brew will probably be best.
When brewing your products, be sure to think of how the herb should be treated. For instance, rosemary is thick and stocky and can hold up to a small boil; however, chamomile is a delicate flower and should be gently steeped.
Be kind to your herb and it will be kind to you!
Always brew with the lid on to keep the steamy essence inside.
Now let's talk taste. To put it delicately, marijuana taste like it smells. So when you brew marijuana straight, it tastes like freshly cut grass water and sometimes and little, uhmm, fragrant we shall say.
So think of flavors that could mask or compliment the herb. I do recommend mint as it helps to mask a lot of flavors and also I really like rosemary. Fruit flavors are also a way to enhance your tea; also fruit could be used as part of your sweetener for the tea.
Honestly you can use any herbs or flavors that you wish. You are more likely to drink the tea if you like the tea! Just play around with the flavor combos and dosage to find a happy medium.
Other than the flavor aspect, you should consider complimenting the herbs to your needs.
Need to relax? Chamomile Need to sleep? Tilia Need stomach relief? Ginger or Mint
Remember it's healing tea, not just high tea.
Although, please be aware that the tea may enhance the effects of any other marijuana products used within the same time period. Use caution when mixing products and watch your dosages; you know your body so use your best judgment.
*Note: if you are a marijuana smoker, this tea will increase the effects of the smoke when taken together. If you are not a regular marijuana user, you should not feel any heady or "high" effects, but you can still achieve the body benefits.
